Golf Stay on Bornholm

Gudhjem Golf Club – New Course
The New Course at Gudhjem Golf Club offers four sets of tee positions, generous length, wide fairways, and large, gently undulating greens. The course presents a series of considered challenges, including water-filled quarries, small lakes, and narrow forest passages – particularly across the final nine holes.
Wind conditions play a significant role and influence the character of the course. In calm weather, the blue tees allow for a balanced round, while the white tees in stronger winds provide a demanding test even for experienced players.
From the white tees, the course ranks among the longest in Denmark. Approximately half of the holes are played with expansive views of the Baltic Sea and towards Christiansø.
Nordbornholms Golf Club – Old Course
The Old Course at Nordbornholms Golf Club dates back to 1984 and, from the fourth hole onwards, winds its way through forest and rock formations, offering a series of particularly distinctive holes.
The course is not long, yet length alone rarely leads to success here. Instead, it rewards a considered and strategic approach, where accurate positioning of the ball is essential. Overly aggressive play is quickly challenged. The Old Course is a layout that reveals itself over time, inviting repeat rounds to fully appreciate its character.
It is a course that remains engaging over many visits and can be played in virtually all weather conditions, making it a valued part of a golf stay on Bornholm.
Bornholms Golf Club
Bornholms Golf Club is located just outside Rønne, in the area of Robbedale. The club features a well-maintained 18-hole championship course as well as a 9-hole Pay & Play course.
The course is clearly structured and generally accessible for most players, while still offering considered challenges across lakes and ravines. The fairways are relatively narrow, placing emphasis on accuracy and controlled play rather than sheer length.
Nexø Golf Club
Nexø Golf Club, located near Dueodde, is a varied 18-hole golf course on Bornholm. The course takes you through the island’s distinctive dune landscapes and into a scenic forest, offering a nuanced and engaging round of golf.
The layout provides continuous variation, with changing conditions and course features that require attention and thoughtful play throughout the round. Around the clubhouse, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, contributing to a well-balanced overall experience.
