At JANTZENs HOTEL, we have aimed to create a unique place that invites you to sit back, relax, unwind, savor the moment, and experience the very special and historical setting of your accommodation in Gudhjem on Bornholm. In the fantastic courtyard, the authentic pavilion, the beautiful green hall, and the individual rooms. That is why you won’t find TVs in our rooms, only in the green hall.
Enjoy a good night’s sleep in our new beds
While we cherish the original, we also want to ensure that you can sleep really well at JANTZENs HOTEL. Therefore, we have let the beds slip under the radar of the house’s strict circular rule and invested in brand new beds. Beds that – to accommodate both guests who prefer sleeping close and those who prefer sleeping a bit more apart – consist of two single beds that can be arranged as a double bed or two single beds.

Double Room
The hotel’s double rooms can be found in the main building. These beautiful rooms offer either a sea view or a French balcony overlooking the hotel’s fantastic courtyard and impressive cliff wall. The interior is delightfully composed of stylish decorative items and cozy vintage furniture.

Double Room with sea view
The double rooms with sea views are located on the first floor of the main building. Here, you will find a lovely and cozy hotel room with a French balcony or a regular balcony, allowing you to enjoy the view of Gudhjem’s rooftops and the Baltic Sea.

Superior Room
The superior rooms are situated in the hotel’s charming side annex. A small building in the beautiful courtyard, adjacent to the large cliff wall. Every now and then, you might sense a whinny or two, as these rooms with own balcony are located directly above what used to be the hotel’s stable.

Junior Suite
The hotel’s junior suites are located on the first floor of the main building, up the winding staircase. Although we refer to them as junior suites, they are cozy 2-room apartments for 2 people, with the option of extra bedding for up to 2 additional persons in the suite’s living room. The junior suite feature a balcony and a small kitchenette.

Family Room
In the hotel’s charming half-timbered house, you will find the hotel’s family rooms. These rooms offer ample space and the possibility of up to 2 additional beds. The rooms have an entrance from a private terrace facing the hotel’s charming courtyard.

JANTZENs HOTEL is a dog friendly hotel, why man’s best friend, the dog, is welcome. If you wish to bring your dog to Bornholm, simply book one of the hotel’s family rooms and let us know that you will be bringing your dog.

Hiker’s Room
If you are on a hiking holiday on Bornholm, the hotel offers a small, simple room with 2 single beds and own lovely bathroom 5 m down the hallway. Here, you can relax in the beautiful courtyard. It’s only a few steps away from one of the town’s restaurants, where you can savor the taste of Gudhjem. After a good night’s sleep, you will be treated to a lovely breakfast before you put on your hiking boots and set off for the next leg.
